Resources for skills and techniques

The ranking system in Taekwondo is denoted by various belt colours. The Korean Martial Arts Academy training syllabus follows this traditional system.

Korean Martial Arts Academy Syllabus: the poomsae are a series of movements for offense and defense techniques which can be practiced and trained, even without the presence of an instructor, in accordance with the fixed patterns (poemsae). From the syllabus page you can select your corresponding belt to review and practice the poemsae (patterns).

Techniques: a series of explanations and video examples to assist with training and understanding.
